50s -Simplicity- pattern no. 2529 Childs one-piece Dress including Panties:The back buttoning bodice joins the dirndl skirt at the natural waistline under corded piping. Self ruffling outlines the scalloped yoke and puffed sleeves. Style 1 features a small rounded collar made of contrasting fabric. In Style 2 the yoke and pocket are cut of eyelet embroidered fabric. Tie ends are stitched into the side seams forming a soft bow in back. The panties, seamed down the center front and back, are finished with elastic at the upper and lower edges. Copyright 1948.
