40s -House of Worsted Tex- Mens two piece 40s suit with black wool serge jacket with doublebreasted styling, six buttons, peaked lapels, inset pockets, fitted silhouette, ventless back, and full taffeta lining, and black wool serge plain front, straight leg, cuffed pants with inset front and back pockets, an example of the common conversion US Navy officer uniforms to civilian suits via button change and insignia removal, pants appear to be a later replacement version of USN uniform pants, nice condition for this amazing suit.
