1950's Mens Pattern
50s - Aldens pattern No. 8533 - This pattern contains direction for a boy or mans shirt in either e a sports style or dress. There is a back yoke, which has a dropped seam. Both styles of shirt are front button. The dress shirt has long sleeves with button cuffs. The sports style has short sleeves. These pattern pieces have no guide marks. They match by dotted letter to the pattern direction guide. This pattern was mailed from Chicago to a home seamstress in Frankfort, Ill. The size stamped on directions is 14. It may refer to neck, but could also be boys sizing.
