50s -Sylvia Ann- Womens white satin wedding dress, with a sweetheart neckline, that is covered by netting, which extends from mid-bodice, with lace insets. A hook closes the back jewel neckline, having tiny seed pearl beads around lace scallops, just above the satin neckline. Satin covered buttons fastening into loops, beginning atthe back satin fabric to the upper hip area. Lace and netting flow over the satin, with the satin flowing into a Basque cut waist and the netting flowing to the hem. Back side gathers, into the waist, provide for hip ease. The chapel style train, extends from the relaxed back waistline and can be fanned out, extending beyond the hem approximately 7 feet. The longsleeve upper extends over the wrist, with 5 satin covered buttons closing the placket. The back of sleeves and the train lower area has some toning, mostly appearing on the underside, but with close up inspection, slightly visible on outer area. This would likely be much improved by a professional cleaning. I used underside spot cleaning methods to preserve the lusterous beauty of the many yards of satin. The dress front measures 58in from shoulder to front hem.
