Late 70s early 80s -Fabric Label- Womens red, wool plaid, sleeveless vest and kilt style skirt. The plaid is traditional, using bright navy, yellow, hunter green, and white. French darts shape the vest, with the lower edge having smile shaping. A V front is finished by the inner lining that finishes the whole garment. Brushed silver tone metal buttons fasten the front, having a heraldic motif on the face. The wrap-a-round skirt fastens with black leather straps and buckles, on each side. The surface side section has a fringed edge finish. Pleats detail the sides and back, stitched for 5.0in from the band to provide a slimming mid-section. The skirt measures 24in from waist to hem and the vest is 22in from shoulder to hem.
