1940's Simplicity Pattern No. 1302 Womens Pattern
40s -Simplicity Pattern No. 1302- The bra top of the swimsuit is gathered to straps at sides, gathered to center casings with cords that are tied to create a center keyhole, and sewn to band with center extended point and tie extensions. Shoulder straps cross in back and button to side straps (so all you have is crossed straps in back). The swim trunks are dart-fitted at waistline (front and back), have straight legs, fitted waistband, and side button closing. Undertrunks joined to waistline are also dart-fitted at waistline, and have elastic in leg casings. The pert little mini wrap-around skirt is pleated, sarong-style, has fitted waistband with tie extensions, and ties in front at side. The roomy beach coat has a boxy cut, collarless jewel neckline, your choice of cap sleeves or roomy longsleeves, long side hemline vents, patch pockets and free opening. Beach coat can optionally be fully lined. Envelope is in poor shape, but pattern is intact.
