1940's Womens Fabulous Forties Dress

40s -No Label- Womens sunflower gold, blended rayon, short sleeve dress, having underarm gusseting. The bodice is shaped with two side mid-section pieces, having gathers extending from them. Below the waist a series of narrow topstitched darts are placed just above the slip in pockets, which have a button held pleat. Matching black dome shaped buttons, having a rhinestone center, fasten the shirtwaist front. High narrow lapels flow from the fold back collar, with a left side zipper adding ease. A center back closed vent extends 13in up from the hem. This garment measures 45in from shoulder to hem.
