1960's Womens Mod Shantung Wiggle Dress

Late 50s or early 60s -No Label- Womens tomato bisque, blended cotton, sleeveless dress, having a Shantung fiber. The round neckline is faced, with a square center section. White mother-of-pearl, round buttons, having a textured swirl surface, fastening it to the waist. A hook on the waist seam, with 2.0in open placket below adds ease, along with a left side seam zipper. Vertical darts extend up and below the waist seam, released pleats add shaping. A single horizontal stitch pleat circles the garment 3.0in below the waist seam. Two 11in open pleats extend from the hem of the center back section, adding eye interest. This garment measures 44in from shoulder to hem.
