1970's Womens Dress
70s -Liberty Gutman- Womens navy and white, tricot and acrylic dress, with a longsleeve navy blue matching jacket, that has one white button closing the front. The V shaped neckline has 1.0in white fabric finishing the front, which tapers to the button. Lower front slip in pockets also have a matching band finish. Princes seams shape the bodice. Matching navy fabric is used in the skirt section of the dress and extends from the elastic shaped waist seam. The bodice is in a silky polyester fabric, with a white background and non linked navy square set on point, in an all over pattern. White buttons close the front to the waist, below the band collar, on the round neckline. Tie extensions may be knotted or bow fastened. Shoulder seams drop forward, with the bodice fabric gently gathering into them. The mid-length dress measures43in from shoulder to hem and the jacket 23in overall.
