70s -William Gaskill California- Womens white and white cream satin and semi sheer synthetic Wedding dress. Appliqued motifs feature grape clusters and leaves, with a .75in trim mimicing the rounded portions of the motifs, and applied with scalloped shaping between the sheer and the lower satin, with another about halfway between the satin and the trimmed hem edge. Lace is also used around the wide round neck, with a zipper closing the back, to the waist. The train is constructed within the lower back satin section and sweeps out, with additional 15in of scalloped section, as the Bride walks. It also may be bustled in the back, for easier movements during the reception. Set in semi sheer longsleeves are finished with 5.0in lace trimmed cuffs. Seven covered buttons fasten in loops to close. Inside two layers of acetate fabric, with a sandwich of netting, on the lower portion, assist in adding stiffing to fan the garments skirt out. This dress measures 57in from shoulder to front hem edge and would benefit from a professional steaming.
