Late 60s -Cable Car Clothiers- Mens Designer limited line brown polyester and cotton corduroy three piece suit. Jacket has full nylon sharkskin lining, three leather look button front closure, thin notched lapels, classic three pocket styling, the lower two with flap tops and single vent back. Five button suit vest has four inset pockets and belt banded back waistline for ease in fit. Matching high waist, flat front slacks have taper cut legs that end in pre-cuffed hems and hook tab/zip closure. Suit shows light wear and rub that can only be seen in certain lighting thanks to the corduroy but still worth noting. Has been dryelled but would benefit from additional dry-cleaning. An absolute must have for the designer mod collector. A tiny repair spot by the pocket. Barely noticeable.

The trio of light brown, sky blue, and cream fibers have an overall grey appearance. Two rounded corner patch pockets detail the lower front, with a band finished upper chest slip in pocket. A 10in vent extends from the center back hem. Inside silvery taupe silky synthetic fabric lines the upper back, sides, and each sleeve. Soft yellow, blended cotton, loose leg slacks are in a summer weight. Pockets, a zipper fly front, and a waistband inner hook are standard in construction details.

70s -Chaps/Ralph Lauren- Mens combination suit, with the dark brown feather suede jacket having long lapels notching from the collar and flowing to the two faux leather buttons closing the front. Four smaller matching buttons detail each sleeve placket. Large rounded corner patch pockets detail the lower front and are flap finished. In side is fully lined with taupe silky synthetic fabric and has inside pockets, one having a tab buttoned fastening and two slip in on the opposite side. Center back has a 13in vent extending up from the hem. Tan, polyester, stretch knit slacks have wide slightly flared legs, a zipper fly front, and a marbled button closing the 4.0in tab, under a wide carrier. Front pockets are diagonally placed, have a topstitched band finish, and an embroidered crown logo on the left side, in the above area. Back slip in pockets have a rolled band finish and the left one is buttoned.

Long lapel deeply notch from the collar and flow to the two textured gold tone metal buttons. Three smaller matching buttons add eye interest to each sleeve placket. Large, rounded corner, patch pockets are flap finished, with a 10in center back vent providing ease. The upper back, sides, and sleeves are finished with a pale blue silky synthetic fabric.. Small motifs of a horse and riding cap and crop, are in red and deeper blue.
