The daring deep boat neckline has shelf seaming with bow accent just above double darted bust line. Diamond cut seaming at arm that falls to taper cut three quarter length sleeves. Back zip closure, matching adjustable d-ring belt at empire waistline that falls to deep knife pleated full skirt. Dress still has original armpit liners - they are a pinch stiff and now that we can dry clean easily it might be best to remove them. Belt shows wear at buckle.

The wide fold over collar has short high lapels, with two buttons closing the front, and a hook close at the waist. Two welts add the appearance of pockets, below the yoke area. All buttons are in two shades of grey and have a curved shape, with a pearlescent appearance. The front gathers into the waist seam, with slip in pockets concealed in each of the side front seam lines and an inverted center pleat. 9.50in above the hem, the left side back has a small fabric flaw, seen with a close up inspection. This garment measures 40in from shoulder to hem. Inside is finished with a grey silky synthetic lining.
