Top stitching adds eye interest to the 1.75in midsection band, with the bodice gathering into the upper portion of it and the skirt into the lower seam. Vertical oval shapes, with a rose motif, form the pattern in the companion long sleeve, lace, cover-up. Buttons close the front, below the sharp point fold over collar, as well as the 3.0in sleeve cuffs. Side slits extend 23in from the hem, to provide ease.
