40s -Vogue Special Design- Womens little black background mid length fab forties semi-formal, wool day dress with short cap sleeves, rear talon metal zip closure, notched flirty cut away v-neckline and cloth covered button front façade in Shirt dress styling met at mid waist seaming with flat hem and inverted box pleat full skirt that would shorten nicely with some light crinoline. Dress has two spots of moth chomping along mid skirt - not actual holes thanks to folds a plenty and full cotton weave lining.

1940's Womens Fabulous Forties Dress
40s -No Label- Womens sunflower gold, blended rayon, short sleeve dress, having underarm gusseting. The bodice is shaped with two side mid-section pieces, having gathers extending from them. Below the waist a series of narrow topstitched darts are placed just above the slip in pockets, which have a button held pleat. Matching black dome shaped buttons, having a rhinestone center, fasten the shirtwaist front. High narrow lapels flow from the fold back collar, with a left side zipper adding ease. A center back closed vent extends 13in up from the hem. This garment measures 45in from shoulder to hem.

Late 40s -Doris Dodson Juniors- Womens designer brown, rust, shaded green, off white and yellow window pane plaid print wool mid length shirt dress with solid white rounded fold over peter pan collar featuring self fabric tie off bow at neck. Dress has button front half placket, three quarter length sleeves, light shoulder pads and mid waist seaming that falls to button accented inset hip pockets. Super flirty cut in a very modest fashion with self fabric belt still with dress. Very hard to find cut and in this condition, good luck ever finding another.
