Black embossed, floral sprays add eye interest to the black background. There are side 14.0in slit extending up from the hem. Inside is lined with a black silky synthetic fabric. Vertical pastel bands of light blue, lavender, and yellow alternate, in a slimming pattern. French darts shape the bodice. The skirt pleats into the waist seam, with large patch pockets using a diagonal pattern cut. Iridescent white buttons close the front, below the round faced neckline, and are approximately half dollar sized. A floral garland machine stitched between the first two buttons adds subtle eye interest. The padded lace style belt is held by side thread carriers. There is a nearly imperceptible yellow toning on the right arm, which blends in with the garments color. This garment measures 43in from shoulder to hem.
