Background
We are in our 17th year in business online! Launched in November 1995, RustyZipper.Com was the web's first vintage clothing store. Over the years, we've outgrown the spare closet & now have over 7,000 sq feet of warehouse space full of amazing stuff.
We have thousands (over 29,000 at last count) of one-of-a-kind vintage clothing items from the 1940's through 1980's, all available to view & order online.

Where we are
Our warehouse is located just outside of the rural farm town of Scotts Mills, Oregon (population 300). Sorry, our warehouse is not open to the public. (our wholesale location in Marquam, OR is open to buyers by appointment. We are 1 hour from Portland, OR)

You'll find thousands of unique vintage clothing items from the 1940's through 1980's. Most items are close to flawless and very reasonably priced.
Since 1995, we've shipped our clothes to tens of thousands of delighted customers. We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something doesn't work out (for any reason), you may return it to us within 15 days for a full refund - just send it back, no prior authorization needed. Returns exceeding $200 will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Sorry, shipping charges are not refundable.

Ordering from RustyZipper.Com is easy! As you're browsing through our
site, you can add items to your order. When you're done, just click the
"your order" button or link to review and place your order.
We take Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Paypal, Amazon Payments and Google Checkout and ensure your security by
utilizing SSL technology. Don't want to use your credit
card on the web? No problem -- just submit your order via our web site,
leaving your credit card number blank & give us a call with
your credit card information.
At this time, we are not able to accept checks or money orders.
We're based Oregon, the land of no sales tax. We will not charge you
sales tax on any order. If you are outside of the US, you will be responsible for any taxes or duties your postal carrier may assess.
Shipping Info
We offer numerous shipping options (as fast as overnight delivery in the US). Upon adding an item to your order, all shipping options and prices are displayed, based on your order weight. International customers outside the USA are responsible for any customs charges.
Orders placed before 11:30am Pacific Time on weekdays are shipped the same business day. After this time, orders are shipped the following business day.
Our Commitment to Green
Each year, we process over 40,000 pounds of previously worn, vintage clothing - meaning the clothes you are buying are reducing the need for new manfacturing.
All of the electricity we use is purchased through Portland General's Green Power Oregon clean energy program. We use ultra low wattage convection heaters augmented by cleaner burning propane heat, low power florescent lighting, high efficiency low water usage appliances in our laundering process, and even offset the energy used by computers visiting our site
by purchasing renewable energy certificates from third-party wind and solar farms through co2stats.com.
We ship carbon neutral through UPS, with carbon offsets purchased each time we ship a package (not available to all countries).
Our 6 acre facility hosts a 4 acre untouched wilderness area with a spring-fed pond that supports local wildlife including deer, elk, bobcat, cougar, and even bear!

We do our best to make sure all of our items are accurately described. If you have
questions regarding our sizes, please see our Sizing Charts.
Item Descriptions will denote any flaws, such as tears, frays, stains, or discoloration.
So we're hoping you'll be happy with your purchase. If not, send it back to
us within 15 days, along with a copy of your receipt, and we'll credit back your
credit card. Returns exceeding $200 will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Sorry, shipping charges are not refundable.
