1940 Retro Dress - 40s -No Label- Women lustrous ivory satin cream wedding gown, having set in longsleeves, with tucks and seams at the elbow. The wrist area uses three fabric covered buttons fastened through loops, with the top sleeve extending over the hand. Center back uses 22 matching buttons and loops, to close the garment. In front the neckline extends down 5.0in, the line softly rounding in, then flows into a 3.0in V shaping. Hand applied white beads add eye interest to each side and below into the bodice front. The motif uses sun ray and scroll end shaping. Front inset piece has a measurement of approx. 60in from floor to shoulder. The garment sweeps out to the train adding an additional 42in sweep behind.
