Shirt has pinch pleat falls for ease in fit front squared rear yoke and stretch weave cotton stripe print trimming at SHORT SLEEVE caps and box cut waistline.

1940's Mens Fabulous Forties T-Shirt
40s -Size Label- Mens creamy off white, shaded blue, black, red, grey, yellow and tan sea side busy merchant marine with village in background and black birds in sky print waffle textured cotton and rayon blend SHORT SLEEVE fab forties shirt in the nearest to t-shirt design possible for the time. Light blue well worn rib knit trim at SLEEVE caps, rounded neckline and box cut hem. shirt has inset left chest pocket and an attention to detail not seen in clothing from the last 50 years. Fantastic vintage condition, has been dry cleaned but several well blended spots of wear remain along rounded neckline and hem. Hard to spot in wear.

Late 40s -The Kahala Made in Honolulu- Mens red, white, black blue, gold, brown drapey rayon Hawaiian shirt with SHORT SLEEVEs, straight sides and hem, cocoanut button front, patch pocket, long pointed collar, double stitched seams, sewn in label, and overall print with surfers, outriggers, palm trees, and surf slogans, a classic shirt from the collectible period by one of the key Honolulu makers, still in business (some sun fading, a number of small spots and some tiny mends, but a wearable and presentable example)
